Hi! I'm Howard - an 11 years old Grade 6 Student from Sekolah Lentera Indonesia. My favorite subject in school is Science as it always amazes me how science is actually like magic but real! Apart from that, I love learning about Social Studies as it satisfies my curiosity about real world issues. I think it’s important to understand the past, the current developments taking place and of course how these things are shaping the future! Last but not least is the ICT because it helps us be aware of advance things we can do with technology and how to use it!
In my spare time, I love coding, building Lego and swimming! I love swimming! I always feel so refreshed when I'm in the water! Perhaps because my chinese family name is "蓝" - which means Blue! - that's why I love water perhaps? ;)
Few years ago I remembered when I visited my Dad's factory in Karawang, he showed me to the back of the factory where I can see a huge river flowing . However the river smelt so bad and it was so dirty I was surprised when he told me this 'dirty' river supplies our water supply in Jakarta!
I'm glad our group got Citarum River as our topic. It is very interesting to understand why Citarum is so important and how it is improving through the years. Now that we know how important Citarum is, I really wish everyone will do their best to take care of Citarum.
